Third Model: Gundam

Originally, I planned to build an armored vehicle like a tank for my last model. However, when I was browsing amazon.com, I found this kit , which usually sells for around $80, for less than $10! So I decided to build this kit for my project instead.

A picture of the box.

This is a picture of the tiny plastic pilot in an astronaut suit that comes with the kit, compared to the size of a quarter. This time, I decided to try and paint it like they did on the box.

This is the first time I've ever tried coloring something so small, and it came out a little rough. However, I am satisfied with it and I think I did an okay job.

The painted astronaut in the pilot's seat.

The finished skeleton of the chest, with the pilot inside.

The finished chest.

The finished head. This took me over an hour to outline.

Pictures of a foot. The feet have spikes on the bottom that fold in.

The finished skeleton of a leg.

The finished ankle.

The finished model, front and back.

One of the "wings" on the back. Each of the 6 "wings" can transform into some sort of rocket propelled tazer thingy.... I have no idea what they're supposed to be.

Secret compartments for lightsabers!

A lightsaber!

A double lightsaber!

More pictures of the finished model. It even comes with a display stand!

The finished model.

Back of the model.

The eye follows the head as it turns!

The cockpit is on the right side.

Turn the magical lever underneath the jetpack...

Now the cockpit is on the left side!!!

This model is also suprisingly flexible.
